A Guide to the Recruiting Process for Underclassmen
In 2023, the NCAA passed legislation disallowing recruiting conversations between D1 college coaches and high school prospects before August 1, before a prospect’s junior year of high school.
This rule change has curbed the trend of early recruiting. We’re no longer seeing underclassmen commit to college programs.
I still recommend, however, that high school players start preparing for the recruiting process during their freshman and sophomore years to make sure they’re ready for when coaches can start contacting them.
For this reason, I recently created comprehensive guides to the recruiting process for high school freshmen and sophomores.
As one of my newsletter subscribers, I’m giving you access to these guides for free:
Click here to access the guide for freshmen.
Click here to access the guide for sophomores.
If you know of anyone who could benefit from either of these guides, feel free to forward this email to them.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Matt
